Why the timing matters
A restaurant that's just been written up has a deadline. The inspector comes back to check, and the state can fine a restaurant up to $1,000 per offense or close it. That week, the owner is looking for someone who can fix it.
A restaurant that's about to open is choosing its vendors. So is a new owner.

Questions
Where does this come from?
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation publishes every restaurant inspection, new license, construction plan review and ownership change. We collect those records every morning, pull out the ones that matter for your trade, and add the phone number from the state's license file.
Couldn't I look this up myself?
Yes, one restaurant at a time on the state's site. The state's download files don't include what the inspector wrote, so finding every live-roach citation in your county means opening each report by hand. We open every one that matters for your trade, every morning.
Is it legal to use?
These are public records under Florida law. How you contact a restaurant is up to you and the usual rules apply: don't autodial or text cell numbers without consent, and follow the CAN-SPAM Act if you email. The terms spell it out.
What if the restaurant already fixed it?
Some items get fixed during the visit, and the list says so when the inspector noted it. It's still a restaurant that had live pests last week, and that's a good reason to call.
Do you contact the restaurants?
No. We never contact the restaurants, and we don't sell to them.
